What are the main criteria for choosing an alarm system?
The main reason we produce and assemble alarm systems 11 years already is that the importance to protect your car is as big for us as it is for you. For us this is a high reputation and for you – this is your car! According to this we have high requirements to colleagues, who want to work with us about a professional assembly, long practice and kind behavior to the clients. There is no better advertisement from a pleased client and because of this no matter the dealer's turnover if he doesn't observe the firm politics he deprive to distribute our products.
The only effective way to protect your car is the security systems. You do not thing that the all kinds of systems offered to the Bulgarian market are so good. You can not judge the security system by the distance remote /is it beautiful or not/ whether the remote control distance is long or the siren sounds high. If you buy a TV set for example the criterion for that it is good is the picture, sound and so on – and you can estimate it in the moment! In the security systems the things are different. You can judge the system when someone tries to steal your car! ???????????????????????????????
The security systems are not mass use articles and it is no recommended to have advertising catalogues and brochures describing the alarm technical parameters. As some model is widespread as the possible to disarm it is much bigger and known to the thieves.

 

THE CHINESE ALARM SYSTEMS
Don't use a Chinese alarm system. Their price is lower and they are widespread but the protection they secure is almost zero.
It is impossible by an alarm system cost 70-80 lv. /with the assembly/ to protect car cost 5000 lv. The problem consist of that the only criterion is low price which automatically shows that their scheme and software are from lower level and they can not effectively against to the thieves` methods.

Another problem of the imported alarm systems is that they are constructed to the nations where the problem with car stealing is no so big. The big part of people who have enough skills and learning to can handle with such system have well paid job answering to their qualification and they will not occupy with criminal activity.

But in Bulgaria because of the bended market more of these specialists are unemployed and try to make living. This is the main reason in our country to have so many thieves equipped with good techniques.

 

INSTALLATION AND GUARANTEE
Require a guarantee for the techniques you assembly.
It is unprofessional to assembly the alarm system on street where people go on over and over again and there are many curious eyes looking at you.
Confide in big firms with serious assembly centers and working with qualitative equipment. In that case you can be sure that the people you trust to have enough experience and assemblies behind them and they understand their work.
Do not worry if the firm has a glittering office. This doesn't mean the prices are high. In practice these firms are invested much money in their activity and rely on bigger turnover and work with lower prices than little garages which has only 2-3 assemblies per mount. At this kind of “turnover” it is normal to rely on single sales with high prices and it is impossible to set aside funds for investments.
It can be said nothing of enough assemblies and professional experience.

 

CODES AND DISARMING
We do not recommend you to buy alarm systems with fixed code because the disarming time is less than 10 seconds by a device made by almost each engineer and which costs only 40-50.
The only security systems which have the opportunity to protect your car are these which use random code. The emitted code has a high complexity and it is almost impossible to disarm the system by imitating the remote control.
It is recommended to assembly a Bulgarian security system. The Bulgarian security systems constructions are consistent with thieves' harmless methods.

 

ENGINE INTERLOCK
Pay especially attention to the engine interlock place and course of action. Have in mind that this precaution defines to a great extent the prevention of stealing the car.
The engine interlock is the most important element in car security. At mass widespread alarm systems the relay is closed /and the ignition is possible/ only when the alarm is disarmed /the relay spring keeps it closed/ and opened – when the alarm is armed /the alarm feeds a constant ground and +12 V comes when the ignition key is on ACC position/.
If you disconnect the alarm couplings one of the cables which cut off the ground signal to the immobilizer's relay will not allow the relay's contacts to be closed while the ignition key is on ACC position.
Disarming of such an engine interlock is very easy. At professional security systems the engine interlock is made on the opposite principle – by a built in normal opened contacts. The disarming of such a security system is much hard.

 

SOFTWARE AND SENSORS
Require the alarm system to have rich software which gives you an opportunity for different modes of work.
Escape security systems with piezo-electrical sensors. This type of sensors is very capricious to adjustment, very unstable and apt to false alarms from environment factors as loud noise, temperature differences and other.
If your car is a cabriolet or you want to increase the security level require a volumetric sensor.

 

PROGRAMMABLE OUTLETS
Require the alarm to have programmable outlets. This gives you an opportunity to realize some missing extras like Dome light, horn usage as additional siren, intelligent control of pager, GSM communicator, electronic window-glass control, electronic luggage carrier, distance ignition and other.

 

ADDITIONAL DEFENCES
Assemble a device for radio announcement.

If you can assemble a module for distance ignition.

If you can assemble an additional immobilizer.
